Hello! I’m Peter Verkuilen, a New York City–based Creative Director and Product Designer with 15+ years of experience across fashion, technology, and healthcare. I specialize in leading design within complex environments and transforming early-stage ideas into polished, user-centered products and campaigns. ’m experienced in balancing business objectives, technical constraints, and creative vision, serving as a bridge between stakeholders, developers, and design teams to deliver thoughtful, effective solutions.

Throughout my career, I’ve successfully led both design and development for large-scale initiatives, including launching multiple consumer-facing e-commerce platforms from the ground up. In addition to extensive B2B and B2C e-commerce experience, I’ve led high-performing activation, email, and advertising campaigns with a range of brands and collaborators. I also enjoy mentoring junior designers, building collaborative teams, and fostering strong creative cultures.

These days I work primarily in Figma and Principle, but I have extensive experience in Sketch, Adobe CC, Cinema 4D, Octane, V-Ray for C4D, KeyShotXR, HTML5, CSS3 and GSAP. I also have strong knowledge of cute animal gifs and the work of Marcel Proust.
