Substratum provides a permanent foundation for at-risk cultural websites, ensuring their continued accessibility and preserving their presence on the web for future generations. Working closely with artists, musicians, and cultural organizations over the years, I watched vital digital contributions quietly disappear when their owners concluded their missions—Substratum is an organization I have launched to address that loss. I designed the logo and identity from the ground up, then built a clean, minimal single-page custom WordPress theme to give the organization a considered foundation to launch from.
